Anxiety & Periods

Q: A week before  my cycle, I wake up every morning  sweating but with anxiety related symptoms.  I am 35 years old.  I was told this was because my body is more sensitive to the  hormone level dropping prior to my cycle.  Is there anything I can do? During the "PMS week", I feel like I'm jumpy, shaking, etc.  It feels like I have drank a whole pot of coffee.  When I start my cycle, these symptoms disappear.
