IUI And Miscarriages

Q. I had emailed you before regarding IUI procedure.  We did get pregnant to our doctor's amazement, but the baby stopped growing after 5 weeks, actually they couldn't find a heart beat.  I had a D & C done and the procedure went well.  I only had cramping for a few hours. My question is do you think my husband and I should try the IUI procedure again, or do you think we should try another procedure?  Are my chances greater the next time around in getting pregnant, because of a miscarriage?

I have talked to my doctor about this but I always like to have a second opinion.

A. You proved it worked and I would not do anything more involved  Unfortunately 35% off all pregnancies miscarry with or without the IUI  There is no question you should try again.  The odds are on your side each time.
