See Yourself Well Mommy-3

is a highly concentrated, custom blend of the Omega 3 Fatty Acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and folic acid. EPA and DHA are beneficial in helping to maintain heart function, health blood lipid and triglyceride levels and cholesterol levels already in the normal range. Folic acid is considered on essential nutrient for developing babies in the womb.

See your baby well

Omega-3 DHA and Folic Acid are both considered crucial nutrients for optimal health and wellness of a baby both during pregnancy and during lactation.

Understanding Omega-3 and folic acid

The omega-3 compound is made up of four fatty acids: EPA and DHA from fish and fish oils, ALA from flax and canola oils, and DPA from whale and seal oils. The clinical evidence overwhelmingly supports the use of DHA and some EPA from fish and fish oils for women during pregnancy and lactation, and shows no benefit for the use of ALA or DPA related products.

Folic acid is found in many vegetable sources such as broccoli and is considered an essential nutrient for developing babies in the womb.

Additional research indicates that the average North American woman consumes only 80mg of DHA per day, which is 220mg of DHA short of the recommended daily intake as established by the National Institutes of Health.
